CatholicProjects.org ("we," "our") is a registration platform. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are.

What we collect

When you register through a parish portal hosted on our platform, we collect the information you provide on the form, including:

How we use it

We use your information solely to process your registration and share it with the parish you registered with. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing.

Who we share it with

Children's data

Many registrations involve minors. Information about minors is provided by a parent or guardian and is used only for parish program administration. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.

How long we keep it

We retain registration data for as long as needed to provide the service to the parish, support sacramental record-keeping, and meet legal or canonical obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us; the parish may also keep its own records governed by its retention practices.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion at any time by emailing support@catholicprojects.org. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (we do not sell data).

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Files are stored in encrypted Supabase storage. Payment data is handled directly by Stripe and never reaches our servers.
